Studio Summer Recital

We had 45 students participate in our annual studio summer recital on June 1 at the Grace Presbyterian Church in Temecula – our biggest ever! Everyone was fantastic! It was great to see students of all ages, including two adult students! Great job, everyone! If anyone took pictures that day, please send them to me!

Southern California Junior Bach Festival

967151_10200729161408002_539747928_oCongratulations to Ron Lycan, Hunter Erickson and Emma Erickson, for being selected from the Temecula Valley branch of Music Teachers Association of California to perform at the SCJBF Regional Festival at Chapman University. Special congratulations to Emma Erickson, who was selected as a Regional Winner! Emma will go on to compete in the final stage of this statewide festival, the Complete Works Audition. The Southern California Junior Bach Festival is a highly competitive event, attracting top students from all over the state. Students of all age groups compete together, regardless of age. Emma is only 7 years old! She was the only student selected to represent Temecula Valley!

Temecula Young Artist Piano Competition

Special congratulations to Emma Erickson – 1st Place Winner, and Claire Howard – Honorable Mention. Everyone played beautifully! I know that all of you learned so much from this experience, and I am very proud of you all!

Studio Summer Schedule

The studio will be closed for summer break from June 15-30. Lessons will resume on July 1. I will be away again from July 22-27 to attend the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy in Chicago. Tuition invoices for June and July will be prorated. Have a great summer, everyone!
