MTNA Professional Certification

Every year, as a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in Piano, I have to submit documentation to MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) in order to renew my certification. This includes list of student accomplishments, my own on-going professional development and continuing education, solo and collaborative performances, as well as contribution to my profession through working in teacher organizations and other music groups. I am proud to say that I received my renewal certificate recently! This is my 8th year! I received initial certification in 2006, shortly after I moved to the US from New Zealand.
