Inland Empire Piano Festival
What: Inland Empire Piano Festival is a piano competition for students age 7 through 18. Held annually in February, the competition focuses on the music of a different historical period each year, alternating between the music of the Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary Periods. The competition in 2013 is for Romantic and Impressionist Periods.
When: February 10, 2013
Where: University of Redlands, Redlands, CA
Cost: $15-$50, depending on division
Who should participate: This competition is open to all students in the Inland Valley, whose teacher is a member in the Redlands, Riverside, San Bernardino, or Temecula Valley branch of MTAC. Serious students who are committed to extra practice are encouraged to participate. Please register your interest by emailing me and letting me know by November 15, so I can start choosing music for you.
