The above two private girls’ schools are among the most prestigious in New Zealand. During 2001-2005 I taught a large number of students of all levels, from beginners to diploma candidates. My responsibilities at the above two schools included:
- teach piano students from Year 7 – Year 13 (age 12-18)
- teach Musicianship, Aural Skills, and Theory to all instrumental students that need assistance in these areas
- accompany school choir
- prepare students for school assessments, NZ National Qualifications, outside body examinations (The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Trinity College of London, Australian Music Examinations Board)
- accompany instrumental students for school assessments, concerts, outside body exams, competitions
- coach chamber music groups

During my postgraduate years at the University of Canterbury, I was a tutor for a Music Rudiments class and a Keyboard and Musicianships class. My responsibilities included:
