Studio Summer Recital 2010

This will most likely be at the end of June or early July. Yiyi is looking at possible venues.

Group Class

Our February Group classes were a success! In the Beginners Class, students learned to sing in Solfege, recognize major and minor triads, play to one another, as well as accompany one another with simple percussion instruments. In the Intermediate Class, students learned about the Circle of Fifths (organization of keys), how to form major scales, played to one another, and learned about analysis of music through discussion about articulation, tonality, keys, composers, and musical periods. Not everyone was able to attend the group classes; in order to give everyone an opportunity to attend, the March group class date and times will be changed to the following:

Beginners: Tuesday March 30, 4:30pm

Intermediates: Tuesday March 30, 5:30pm

Adults: Tuesday, March 30, 6pm
